Redesigning Kawasaki 85Z7: a new quality is born

Redesigning Kawasaki 85Z7: a new quality is born
Lately, the Kawasaki’s engineers have redesigned the Kawasaki 957Z wheel loader in order to meet EPA Tier 4 Interim emission standards. The whole process was also aimed at improving the operating efficiency and productivity. As a result, the 388-hp machine has been equipped with a 7.3-cubic-yard bucket and got a brand new look, with a hood design that improves rear visibility and the general usability.
The vehicle’s 16-liter Isuzu 6WG1 diesel engine remains largest in its class and the big, planetary automatic -shift transmission has the automotive-like smooth shifting from pulse width modulation in the control valve. The Kawasaki 957Z also features a lock-up torque converter that is going to boost performance and the fuel economy.
The machine uses the IntelliTech System that applies the inputs from the vehicle to adjust the performance and match the conditions. While many operations are automatic, other are left for the operator to select functions necessary for the application or the working process. The improvements include the diagnostic system as well – now it allows more detailed data and gives the quick access to troublesome issues.

Volvo Construction Equipment Announced the Best Place to Work in Chinese Construction Industry

Volvo CE has been voted among China’s leading places to work and won the “Best Employer 2012 in the Construction Equipment Industry”. The company is renowned for launching new initiatives to safeguard its top position on the table ( e.g. partnering with colleges all over the world and providing the youth with job opportunities).

The amazing increase in numbers when it comes to Chinese construction industry over the last 10 years has resulted in some problems concerning the supply of gifted technicians and logistic specialists. That gave the incentive for even more fierce competition to attract and retain employees.
Having taken a closer look to the survey of 100,000 people, it appeared that Volvo CE is the ultimate winner of the so – called war of talent, having been dubbed the “Best Employer 2012 in the Construction Equipment Industry” in China.

The panel of experts, including the Human Resources Association of China, among others – reviewed the survey results and awarded Volvo CE “Best Employer 2012” at the first CHO summit that has ever been held, in Yantai, China on 20th September. While accepting the award, Inge Zhou, the vice president of Corporate Communications  for Volvo CE in China took the advantage of an opportunity to announce the company’s cross-country training program, created to encourage and introduce new talents into the industry.
